Sky Zone bounces into Sydney
Sky Zone is apparently the World’s first indoor trampoline park and it is opening up in Sydney.
I must admit the words “hundreds of trampolines, connected to form a single massive trampoline that literally allows you to jump off the walls” sound pretty cool. The level of disclaimers and warning about the risk of serious injury is inevitable I suppose, but given how dangerous a backyard trampoline can be with two kids in it, it will be interesting to see how Sky Zone manages to keep things both fun and safe.
Sky Zone is opening in Alexandria in late April and will cost $18 for an hour’s jumping. All the gory details are here.
By the way, Sky Zone is saying it is the “world’s first indoor trampoline park” although they perhaps ought to tell the people at Boing Central which is apparently Sydney’s “newest indoor trampoline park” or the people at Flip Out Trampoline Arena which is “Australia’s first & largest trampoline playground”. Then there’s Planet X which is “the first indoor trampoline park in NSW” and FX Sportzone which is simply coming soon. That’s an awful of of bouncing.
